Terms of Use
By downloading or using Kash, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Kash is
Kash is a personal expense and income tracking tool that stores information on your device. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we expressly agree otherwise.
2. Not financial advice
Kash helps you record and review your own entries. It does not provide banking, tax, investment, accounting, or professional financial advice. Decisions you make based on numbers in the app are your responsibility.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your device secure and protect any PIN, biometric unlock, or security question you set
- Keep your own backups if you need long-term copies of your data
- Enter accurate information; Kash cannot verify merchants, amounts, or categories for you
- Comply with applicable laws where you use the app
4. Backups and data loss
Because data is primarily stored on your device, loss, theft, factory reset, uninstall, forgotten PIN (without a recovery option you configured), or corrupted storage can result in permanent data loss. We are not liable for lost on-device data. Use the backup features if you want recoverable copies.
5. Optional features
App lock, biometrics, security question recovery, daily reminders, exports, and crash reporting behave as described in the app and the Privacy Policy. You can disable some of these in Settings.
6. Third-party services
Release builds may use Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. Those services are subject to Google’s terms and privacy documentation in addition to this policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Kash name, branding, and app materials are provided for use of the app as distributed. You may not misrepresent the app as your own product or remove required attribution where present.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Kash is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of Kash — including mistakes in recorded amounts or missed reminders.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or discontinue the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Kash at any time by uninstalling it.
